I enjoy words, language, and exploring all styles and forms of writing. From journalism, poetry, and scriptwriting to technical, experimental and academic writing—each genre holds its own allure. Employment here allows me to pursue an exploration of writing in multiple programs (IAS, Nursing, Business etc.), thus broadening my understanding of how to connect specific meanings to different needs.
The best moment, in the process of working with another writer, is the actual process. I never fully understood the benefit of a writing conference before working here. Something incredible happens when words are given an audible voice and an audience. New connections, new ideas, and a new sort of comprehension arrive when the silent becomes spoken. Discovery is the reward of the time spent here. What I hope to offer other writers is a new way of seeing the strengths of their work while collaboratively finding ways to improve it. As has been said many times before—a paper is never done, it's only due.
Are books way better than action figures? The answer is in the imagination.
