I love to read magazines; it doesn't even matter what kind: fashion, travel, cooking, you name it. If it's got glossy photos and snazzy articles, I am so there. And ultimately I would love to write for one.
I have lived in Seattle my whole life and I am so excited to be attending UW Bothell. I wanted to be a writing consultant because I absolutely love to write. Even though writing is my passion I also enjoy many other activities such as socializing, baking, golfing, community service, giggling, and shopping.
The thing I love about writing is that no matter what the assignment, you can always make it to fit your writing style. Although I am not the most traditional writer it is always fun for me to mix assignments up by making them my own. My favorite stage in the writing process is the moment you get the assignment. When I get an assignment over a million ideas come to mind and I can't wait to write them down. But then of course when I sit down with my pen, it doesn't exactly happen like I imagined. That is why I am a big believer in pre-writing. I love bubble charts and other fun ways to start assignments. The rush of writing is something incomparable and I look forward to feeling that rush with students.
