Prospective Dual Enrollment Students

Cascadia CC, UW Bothell Business

Step 1. Enroll at Cascadia Community College

See an advisor and plan your first 45 credits. The classes you take will include UWB general admissions requirements and Business program prerequisites as follows:

Achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in college classes and for Business prerequisites. (*2.5 or higher required in each)

Note: foreign language is required to graduate from the University of Washington Bothell (either two years high school or two quarters of college (101 and 102 levels).

Step 2. Apply to Dual Enrollment

Check the application deadlines.

Obtain the signature of your CC advisor to verify eligibility

Prepare and sign up to take the required UW Writing Skills Assessment (WSA) (Must achieve a score of 4.5 or higher); a score of 550 or higher on the SAT Written Exam can be used instead of the WSA.

Submit a Dual Enrollment application to UW Bothell.

Step 3. Dual Enrollment Admission

Admitted DE students are official students of CCC & UWB!

Continue taking classes for your associate degree and take *selected UWB Business courses that fit your schedule and your UWB degree program; complete any remaining UW Bothell Business program prerequisites

Step 4. Guaranteed Admission to UW Bothell Business

When you can check off the requirements below you've earned guaranteed admission to UW Bothell Business:

What's next? Submit official transcripts to the office of the Registrar for verification. As a full-time UWB Business student, complete the remaining bachelor degree requirements and graduate with a University of Washington degree.
