Marketing Resources On-Campus
Student Organizations Resource Room
To access services visit the Student Life Vista and check in with the Student Life Assistants at the Information Desk. They will give your organization access to the Student Organizations Resource Room ( UW1 Room 007), printing and answer any questions you may have.
Large Banners
There is butcher paper, markers, pens, and other supplies for student groups to create large posters/banners. (View Posting Policy)
Posters (18 x 24)
Each student group has access to use the Large Poster printer in the Student Organizations Resource Room. The first two large posters are free and each poster after that is $6. (View Posting Policy)
Black & White Copies
As a service, the Office of Student Life will photocopy up to 35 pages black/white copies per month, for each student group. To receive this service your event must already be approved and you must bring your copy-ready flier to UW1 Room 070.
Sandwich Boards
Sandwich boards may be placed on campus, in designated areas, to publicize events. Board can be placed along the Promenade, in front of the entrance of the Commons, and near the Library entrance. To check out a sandwich board visit the Student Life Vista and speak with a Student Life Assistant.
Display Cases
Four display cases are available on the lower level of the UW1, in the Student Life Vista. These are
available for student organizations to reserve to promote their organization and events. Speak to a Student Life Assistant in the Student Life Vista to schedule usage.
Screen Savers
The Information Technologies Department (IT) & the Campus Library have agreed to allow ASUWB/Student Activities advertising on the idle computer monitors in the Campus Library and the UWB Computer Labs. If you would like something posted on a screen saver please email a .jpg file of the poster to studentlife@uwb.edu.
Suggested Vendor Book
We have used all of these vendors and we can recommend them. All accept the purchasing card and most deliver. Speak with a Student Life Assistant to get more information or email studentlife@uwb.edu.
Submit Event Info for Wed. Update and BS Times
You can submit your event information to be published in the Wed. Update (email sent out weekly) and BS Times (poster distributed bi-weekly in bathroom stalls). Please email event information to studentlife@uwb.edu. Submissions should be in paragraph form and include title of event, date, time, location, organization name, contact info and any other applicable information. Submissions for Wed. Update are due the prior Tuesday by 5 PM. We will include your event info in the applicable edition of the BS Times.

- Contact Information (No personal telephone numbers please.)
- All flyers and banners must include the following disability statement:

DISABILITY STATEMENT FOR FLYERS
Posting Guidelines
- Materials shall indicate the name and contact telephone number of the department, individual or organization.
- Materials shall comply with University of Washington conduct codes.
- All printed materials written in a language other than English must be accompanied by an English translation.
- Flyers and posters shall not exceed the size of the background to which they are affixed.
- Two posters, four flyers, or four table tents are allowed per building floor.
- Affix flyers to bulletin boards using push pins or to concrete columns using blue painter’s tape. The tape must be rolled on the back, and should not be visible from the front.
- Flyer or poster authors shall monitor and remove materials when the information becomes outdated.
- Publicity that does not meet the criteria above or interferes with campus safety will be removed.
- All materials will be removed at the end of each academic quarter unless otherwise approved for continued posting by the Director of Finance and Administration.
