Check out UW Bothell's Student Fitness Center! Located in UW2 - 040, it is open to all students at UWB. There are all kinds of equipment in the Student Fitness Center, including ellipticals, treadmills and recumbent bikes for your cardio workouts. There are also dumbbells, a multi-station gym for strength workouts, tension bands and medicine balls.
Some of the great amenities include two huge plasma screen TVs connected to digital cable, a cold water dispenser, and two fans to keep you cool. There are also showers and lockers very close by, in the bathrooms next to the CUSP office.
The Student Fitness Center is generally open the same hours as UW2, which can be found here. The Student Fitness Center may be closed during school breaks for maintenance. **UPDATE
Changes are coming to the Student Fitness Center! We are looking at adding stability balls and a pull-up bar. These changes are not confirmed, but are definitely being researched. A bench press is unfortunately not on the list due to lack of space and concerns about safety. We are replacing the weight benches that are currently in the Student Fitness Center with heavy-duty Precor Icarian Super Benches.
Some of you have been asking about the channels available on the TVs. This is currently being worked on. Our cable service provider made changes in their service that resulted in us getting channels up to 29 only, but those should be addressed soon.
