Proposal Preparation & Submission Process
Process
Contact the Office of Research Support (cshirley@uwb.edu) when you are ready to begin proposal preparation as each opportunity is unique. Please provide the following information:
- PI (and any Co-Is at UWB or UW)
- Sponsor
- Solicitation number/information for guidelines
We like to get in on the process as early as possible to clear any roadblocks you may encounter.
The proposal will need to be routed through the University's on-line approval system called SAGE (System for Administering Grants Electronically). This system sends a copy of your proposal after you approve it through Bothell Grants (Office of Budget and Planning), your Program Director and then it goes on to Office of Sponsored Programs. Depending on submission guidelines, they either submit it or provide a letter.
