Graduate Office Staff
Lisa Olason
As Community Relations Manager, Lisa advises students and recent graduates on professional development and builds campus-community partnerships.
Lisa's career spans more than 15 years in the nonprofit sector, including eight years in the field of international relief and development. She has worked as a project manager, volunteer coordinator, cross-cultural trainer, event planner, fundraiser, and therapist and has served diverse populations, including adolescents, the elderly, persons living with HIV/AIDS, survivors of domestic violence, and international women and children. Lisa has a BA in Human Services from Western Washington University and an MS in Marriage & Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. Contact Lisa
Kate Osmond
As Program Coordinator, Kate monitors the admissions process, provides general program support to students, faculty, and the public, and publishes the IAS graduate newsletter.
Kate comes to UW Bothell with a background in enrollment management, student advising, study abroad leadership and administration, and teaching. Kate holds a M.A. in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute and a B.A. in Anthropology from Connecticut College. Contact Kate
Meredith Field
As Marketing and Academic Events Manager, Meredith is responsible for promoting the IAS graduate studies programs to potential students, the University of Washington community, other educational institutions and the general public, and planning and implementing academic events for the programs.
Meredith has extensive experience in program development and administration and events management in the fields of consumer protection, public health, disabilities and higher education. She earned her BA in Latin American Studies from Mount Holyoke College and her MFA in nonfiction writing from the University of Iowa. Contact Meredith
Ron Krabill
As Associate Director for Graduate Education and Associate Professor, Ron Krabill teaches courses in the Cultural Studies graduate program, advises graduate students, and provides oversight of graduate curriculum, policies, and planning.

Nate Brown
As Graduate Staff Assistant, Nate assists the IAS graduate office with program promotion, student recruitment, and administrative support.
Nate has a B.S. in Neuroscience from Washington State University and is a second-year Policy Studies student at UW Bothell. He has a background in mental health case management, resource development, and biomedical research. Contact Nate

As Policy Studies librarian, Alyssa assists students with their research and helps them navigate the resources available to them through the UW Libraries.
