My name is Navarre Kerr and I am going to be a junior this fall here at UWB. I am majoring in Media and Communication Studies in the School of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences with a minor in Human Rights. I was a member of the first Freshman Council last year and am currently an active member in the human rights club (HERE) and our civic engagement organization (ACT) on campus. I also play on the school’s co-ed dodge ball team. My interests and hobbies are guitar, bass guitar, photography, and politics. I am an avid fan of metal music and frequently go to concerts. After UWB, I plan to get a master’s degree in broadcasting and I hope to obtain a career that allows me to promote human rights and activism through the media.
