Hi everyone! My name is Casey Corcoran and I am a junior at UW Bothell who transferred here from WSU at the beginning of my sophomore year. I plan to double major in IAS with a concentration in both Culture, Literature and the Arts and Community Psychology. I love golf, baseball, writing, listening to music and reading. I work at the Writing and Communication Center on campus and really enjoy working with people on their papers because it allows me to help them with their writing process while simultaneously bettering my own writing. So far, my favorite class at UW Bothell has been a philosophy class I took called Marx, Nietzsche, Freud, because it challenged me to think about and wrap my head around difficult and complex ideas. Eventually I would like to write for a living, or at the very least teach writing, and hope to attend graduate school somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
