Teaching Activities:
Teaching interests and experience include human growth and development, child and adolescent health, pediatric/family nursing, and advanced nursing role development. She has also taught interdisciplinary courses on the coordination of care for chronically ill children. Prior to joining the University of Washington, Bothell, she has held faculty appointments at the University of Rochester (NY), University of Wisconsin-Madison (WI) and Marquette University (WI). She directed the pediatric nurse practitioner programs at the University of Rochester and Marquette University. She will be teaching a section of BNURS 409 Nursing Strategies for Community as Client during the 2002-2003 academic year.
