Summary of the B. A. Health Studies Degree
Prospective Students
Prospective students who are interested overall in the subject area of public health, and who are interested in learning how to analyze and problem solve within the public health discipline are encouraged to examine this major closely. Program Location and Classes
Classes are held on the Bothell campus. Many classes for this major are currently under development, but classes that meet all in-person and classes that meet on a hybrid basis (some in-person, some online meetings) are both expected to be developed. Current details about course offerings are available here, but more details will be posted as they become available.
Program Start
Health Studies will admit its first group of students to start in this major for Fall 2013. Right now, annual Fall admissions are planned, but we hope to admit students more than once a year as soon as we can. Details regarding our admission requirements and the application process are now available.

How the Degree Works
To earn a B. A. in Health Studies requires 62 credits of Health studies courses, plus a variety of other courses and electives. Total number of credits required for the degree is 180. The specific course breakdown for graduation is listed here.
What Students Will Learn
Students in our program will develop knowledge and skills useful for improving public health practice. More details are available here.
