About Beta Gamma Sigma: Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) was founded as a national organization in 1913 and is the Honor Society Serving Business Programs at schools accredited by the AACSB International. To be eligible for membership, the academic ranking of those being considered must place them in the upper 10% of the senior undergraduate class; or the upper 20% of the graduating master's class. There are almost 300,000 students in the U.S. that receive baccalaureate or master's degrees in business each year, but less than 20,000 earn lifetime memberships in Beta Gamma Sigma.
