Graduate Certificate Application Process
The Graduate Certificate in Software Design & Development (GCSDD) admits for Autumn Quarter only. The application deadline is July 1. All application materials must be recieved by this date.
Please following the steps below to apply.
- Please visit the UW Grad School Application website and click on ‘Create a New Applicant Profile’ to begin your application process. Fill out the corresponding applicant profile form, and continue on to the Graduate School Application. In step 1 of the Graduate School Application, choose "Graduate Non-Matriculated" and in step 2, for the program, choose "Computing & Software Systems - Bothell".
- Applicants will need to upload official transcripts showing Calculus, and the first and second quarters of programming*, as well as completion of a bachelors degree as part of the application. In the case that an applicant can not upload their transcripts, they will need to submit official copies to the address below
- All applicants must upload BOTH a current resume and a one-page statement describing knowledge and experience of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) as part of the application.
- Submit any supplmental materials (including any and all self-assessment work*) to cssinfo@u.washington.edu
*Applicants who have not taken formal programming courses but desire to apply should request a copy of the programming self-assessment from the CSS Gradaute Advisor (MJewell@uwb.edu). Please submit any and all work in step 4 (above).
Students seeking F-1 Visa status are not eligible for the Graduate Certificate.
