Sean Buchanan MBAA PresidentSean Buchanan - President
Sean’s background is emphasized in entrepreneurship, sales, and leadership. His emphasis comes from restructuring organizations and driving them to success through implementing proper models and best practices. Recently, he co-founded the social enterprise ICON (ICONMBA.org) with Chip Reno, where they help MBA students aid NGOs to take their passion into sustainability. Sean is extremely passionate about the momentum and opportunity with the MBAA because of the support and leadership displayed by their colleagues/fellow students. They are connecting, catalyzing and executing such incredible programs. It truly has been an honor to be a part of all of it, and he cannot wait to see how they develop and grow, most especially the Women in Business program.

Adrienne Neubert - MBAA Senior Vice PresidentAdrienne Neubert - Senior Vice President
With over ten years of experience working with international suppliers, Adrienne recently stepped down from managing a purchasing department in order to focus on the second year of her Leadership MBA. During 2013, she plans to leverage her experience and education together to become an operations manager for a company. Adrienne is excited about the direction the MBAA, and feels that they are establishing programs in place that will further enhance the professional development of the students and alumni. She is especially excited about their Woman in Business program. This is a newly created entity within the MBAA which will provide resources and networking in order to help women grow professionally. When she is not busy with UW Bothell activities, she can be found dabbling in the world of running and hiking, and will be running her first triathlon in the summer of 2013.

Jason DeMotts - Vice President of Community RelationsJason DeMotts - Vice President of Community Relations
Originally from Walla Walla, Jason received his Finance degree from the UWB in 2004. After graduation Jason started in a Finance role at VMC Consulting where he worked in internal finance and accounting for 2 years, eventually moving to Microsoft where he has been in various finance roles for the last 6 years. He is currently pursuing the Leadership MBA at UW Bothell. Jason likes that his cohort is focusing their efforts on the collective success of the programs, understanding and appreciating that they can’t do this alone; thus, their success is exemplified by the power of their support to each other—they have esprit de corps. She is looking to move to a globally oriented career where she can help shape the strategy of a company using similar skills she has used as an analyst. She is most excited about connecting students with additional development opportunities and creating value with the student body.
