Web Conferencing

Web conferencing sites let their users hold screen or video coneferences without the hassle of installing complicated software. The basic requirements include a computer with a fast internet connection, a microphone, and a webcam (for video capability). This is an ideal solution for quick or less formal meetings between a student and an instructor in distance education. Alternatively, you may consider video chatting over an instant messaging application, for a more formal event, see the video conferencing service provided by the Campus Media Center.

UW Bothell does not provide technical support for this tool. Instead, users may be able to obtain support through the third-party that provides the tool or public information on the internet. UWB LT provides pedagogical support for the use of this tool in classes.
