Your user profile contains your name and contact information as well as tools to integrate information from external sites such as Google Apps or Facebook to your Canvas account.
To access your user profile, click on your name or the profile link at the top right corner of the page.
Editing your User Profile
- To add or change your profile picture, click on the icon next to your name.
- You can add an additional e-mail address or another contact method (phone number, etc.) using the links under the Ways to Contact box.
- You can also integrate external services or social networks with which you have accounts with. These include:
- Google Docs
- Skype
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- Twitter
- Delicious
- Diigo
Notification Settings and Preferences
To change your notification settings, click on the Notifications from the navigaton menu to the left.
You can change the times of notification as well as the method of notification (e-mail, text, facebook) for the different course notifications. Canvas can also send notification to your Facebook account if you have enabled service integration.
