Requesting A New Course

Form is for Instructor Use Only: Students should check with their instructors to see if they are using Canvas for their classes.

Instructors should use this form to request a Canvas course if you:

  • Need to archive a course from Blackboard
  • Are not an 'instructor of record' for an official UW Bothell course, but need a canvas course 'shell'
As an 'instructor of record' of an official class at UW Bothell, you DO NOT need to request a course for Canvas. Simply login to Canvas (canvas.uw.edu) and begin building your course. Your students will be automatically enrolled in the course upon registration.
