Announcements are notices that instructors or students may post to the course. They are used for quick and simple communication among members of the course. Additionally, announcements can be set up to be sent to members' email or social media accounts. Instructors may use the feature for:
- Reminding students of upcoming due dates/exams
- Point students to outside resources relevant to the course
- Notify the course of important events of interest
