If your instructor has created an assignment in Blackboard, there will be a link available which you can use to submit your completed work.
- Go to the content area or page where the assignment was created, which should usually be named Assignments but can be different depending on your instructor.
- Once at the right place, click on the assignment link.

- View, read, and download assignment information.

- Text responses may be sent to an instructor under the Submission textbox. This textbox can also be used for completing short assignments that only require simple text answers.
- If you wish, you can click Attach local file to upload a file from your computer. This can be a Word document, Excel spreadsheet, PowerPoint presentation, pictures, video clips, or any other file.
- Click Browse...
- Go to the location of your file and select it
- Click Open
- At Currently Attached Files, click Add Another File and repeat the process above to submit multiple attachments. This section also lists any files that are already tagged for submission.

- Click on the Submit button to turn in your work. It will be sent when you get a notification of success.
- Depending on the instructor, you may be allowed to submit an assignment only once. If you have submitted a wrong assignment, contact the faculty member to let him know.

- Note: Please be patient when uploading large files, because it may take a while to transfer all of the data to the Blackboard server. Also, make sure that the type of file you submit can be viewed by the instructor. A good guideline is that all submitted files should be openable by a UWB campus computer, unless your teachers have specified otherwise.
- Once your work has been graded, you can see your score at Tools > My Grades. Feedback or returned files may be viewed by clicking on the assignment's grade point number.
