Expanding and Collapsing
Thread Display Buttons
Views
- Tree View: in this mode, threads and their child posts (replies to each thread or post) are displayed as expandable and collapsible tree lists. Sorting is based on chronological order with respect to parent posts.
- List View: in this mode, threads in a forum are displayed as a tabled list.
- In List View mode, threads can be sorted by clicking on the arrows above the column names. A yellow arrow will indicate which column is currently being used for sorting. Also, you can switch between ascending (arrow pointing up) and descending (arrow pointing down) order by clicking on the same yellow arrow again.

Expanding and Collapsing
- When viewing a thread or a forum in Tree View, you can expand and collapse the list of posts.
- Clicking on Expand All and [+] will expand the list to show child posts.
- Clicking on Collapse All and [-] will collapse it to hide child posts.

Thread Display Buttons
- Thread Display Buttons (from left to right):
- Swap Down/Swap Up: swap the location of the thread structure box (default is top) with the post message box.
- Hide/Restore to Minimum: toggle between hiding and showing the thread structure.
- Maximize/Restore to Minimum: toggle the size of the structure box between maximum and minimum.
