To view and grade assignments, select the Grade Center within the Control Panel and click on Full Grade Center.

Within the Grade Center, click on the double down arrow next to the assignment that you wish to view and grade and select Grade Attempts from the menu.

You will now be able to view all students who have submitted a response for the asignment. Blackboard will automatically load each student's submission individually for you to grade in alphabetical order.
The Submission History will state the number of attempts that the student made on the assignment if multiple attempts are allowed.
Underneath this section in Review Current Attempt, you can view what the student has submitted well as download any files that the student has uploaded.

Once you have viewed the student's submission, you can give a grade for the assignment as well as leave comments for the student under the Grade Current Attempt section.
The Grading Notes section will only be visible to instructors and TAs and is useful for additional notes that you do not want to be visible to the student.

Once you are done assigning a grade and leaving a response for the student, click on Save and Next. Blackboard will automatically load the next student's submissions for you to view and grade. If you want, you can also skip a student and continue on by clicking the right arrow next to the number of students left.
