Assignments can be either excluded from grade calculations or deleted entirely from Blackboard. Consider excluding assignments from calculations if you wish to retain the records, or entirely deleting them from Blackboard if you wish to clean up your course page.

Exclude From Calculations
- From the Blackboard Grade Center, click on the chevron button (
) for an assignment and select Edit Column Information.
- Scroll down to the third option and change Include this column in Grade Center calculations to No.
- Click Submit to save changes.

Delete Assignment from Blackboard
WARNING: Deleting an assignment from Blackboard is permanent and cannot be undone. All records including grades associated with the assignment will be removed.
To delete an assignment, go the page or content area where the assignment is located. Click on the chevron button next to the assignment that you want to delete and select the Delete option from the drop down menu.
Click ok to confirm the deletion. Keep in mind that this cannot be undone.
