With the Mouse
This method is easier to learn and remember than the one using the keyboard. However, if it does not work because right-clicking is disabled, you may always try to copy and paste with the keyboard. Follow these steps to copy and paste text from Microsoft Word to Blackboard:
- Select the text to transfer from another application, such as Microsoft Word or any other text editor, to Blackboard.
- Right-click on the text to bring up the additional menu. Apple users will have to control-click instead.
- Pick Copy.

- Now that you have copied the text, go to Blackboard and right-click on a text box. Apple users will have to control-click instead.
- From the menu, pick Paste.
