Canvas for Faculty

To access UW Canvas, go to canvas.uw.edu and login with your UW NetID.

Unlike in Blackboard, instructors will no longer have to request courses be created for them. Instead, Canvas will automatically create courses for instructors who are teaching a class as an 'instructor of record'. If you are not teaching a class and need to use Canvas for other purposes, please submit a request via the Canvas Course Request Form.
