Blackboard

Overview

Blackboard is web courseware which can be used to create online content and add online interaction and collaboration to a course. Faculty can use Blackboard to post course documents, create links, hold online discussions, give tests, and facilitate groupwork. Students can use Blackboard to find course information, turn in assignments, view grades, and interact online with faculty and other students. Canvas Transition Information

Because UW Bothell has chosen to make Canvas our primary learning management system, the use of Blackboard will be gradually phased out in the next year. On December 31st, 2013, UWB will be shutting off the Blackboard servers and all Blackboard content will be permanently unavailable.
