Using the Mouse

This method is easier to learn and remember than the one using the keyboard. However, if it does not work because right-clicking is disabled, you may always try to copy and paste with the keyboard. Follow these steps to copy and paste text from Microsoft Word to Blackboard:

  • Select the text to transfer from another application, such as Microsoft Word or any other text editor, to Blackboard.
  • Right-click on the text to bring up the additional menu.
Note: Mac users will have to control-click instead.
  • Pick Copy.
