Connecting to Wireless in Windows 7
Open up Wireless Network Connections, it is on the bottom right corner near the clock, by left clicking it. Warning: If you are connected via network cable this icon will not appear.
It looks like this.
Click on the network you wish to access; for on campus single left click “University of Washington”.
Put a check mark into the box marked “Connect Automatically” and click the “Connect” button.
Open your Internet (Web) Browser.
Internet Explorer, Firefox are most common.
Click the refresh button or hold down CTRL+R on the keyboard to refresh the browser.
You should be presented the website below. Click on the Long-term access.
Type in your NET-ID and password (pictured).
You should now be connected to UW wireless!
