Priority Service Levels
All services provided by UWB IT have an internal priority rating. Priority for services have been devided into 4 levels with appropriate response times associated.
Priority 1 (PRI-1):
Priority 1 services are items that provide critical core online or network service to the campus. Examples of PRI-1 services are Exchange and Fileservers.
Priority 2 (PRI-2):
Priority 2 services are items that provide critical online or network service for UWB IT or are 3rd party hosted critical services of the campus. Examples are GLPI and UW SDB, UW Google Sites.
Priority 3 (PRI-3):
Priority 3 services are items that are hosted services, or provide essential online, or network service for UWB IT, or have minimal campus impact, or are 3rd party hosted essential services of the campus. Examples are and GLPI.
Priority 4 (PRI-4):
Priority 4 services are items that are non-essential hosted services, or provide non-essential online or network service for UWB IT, or have limited campus impact, or are 3rd party hosted non-essential services of the campus. Examples are development systems and class or student project servers.
