Travel & F1 Visa Workshop
: Interested in traveling home or to Canada over the holidays & winter break? Not sure what documents you need when traveling, or how to apply for your new F1 visa? We will discuss in this workshop about everything you need to know before you travel and the resources available to help you.
Students are encouraged to bring their current UW Bothell I-20 to the workshop to receive the current travel signature from the International Student Advisor.
Internships & Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Workshop
: Interested in doing an internship? Come to our informational session to learn about the employment opportunties you have with your F-1 visa, and how you can apply for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) work authorization to do your internship. ISS will share information to help you through the process, and answer questions.
If you are not able to attend a workshop, students are encouraged to review the CPT information online , and then schedule an appointment to meet with the International Student Advisor (iss@uwb.edu ).
Optional Practical Training (OPT) Workshop
: Interested to work in the U.S. after graduation? Come to our informational session to learn about how you can apply for OPT work authorization. ISS will share information to help you through the application process, and answer your questions. The OPT Information and Application Packet is online here.
