I am currently going into my second year in the Cultural Studies program here at UWB. This year I am involved in Student Government, and serve as the Director for Student Advocacy. I participate in several clubs on campus that focuses on community service, a couple of them are: Husky Packs and Voices of Migration. If you live at student housing on campus, you can also find me there serving as a Residential Advisor. I became an ISF so that I can form new friendships, learn from you, have fun, and help students get familiar with living in the area as well as campus. I look forward to meeting you and making new friendships.

Hello! I am currently a sophomore with an intended major in accounting and a co major in business finance at the University of Washington Bothell. UWB is not just a college but also a family. I have found that the faculty and students on campus truly care about my lifelong dreams, and encourage me to pursue and achieve my goals. This past year I have had the privilege to meet many incredible friends who have taught me life lessons on how to love and embrace each moment of every day. UWB has pushed me to go beyond my comfort zone, and has ultimately helped me to become a more centered and confident individual. As an ISF, I am excited to welcome you to UWB. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions and say “hello” whenever you see me around on campus.

Hi everybody! I came to UW Bothell in fall of 2011. I am currently studying Electrical Engineering, but I haven’t decided what I want to major in yet. Once I was a new student here on campus, just like you will be when you get here. Attending the UW Bothell was one of my best choices I have made in my life. When I first came to college it was a scary experience for me. I was not used to being away from home and the culture shock came to me. But the college staff and students helped make me feel like I was at home away from home. Think of college as another home as where you will meet new friends and make decisions by being independent. The UW Bothell staff and students are very friendly and accepting. Here at UW Bothell our mission is to help ease your transition into college life. We the ISF’s are here to welcome you to your second home. As an ISF, I I am looking forward to meeting all of you here. Welcome to UW Bothell!

Hi everyone! This is my last year here at UW Bothell. I major in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management. After almost 4 years of studying abroad in the U.S., I realize what a journey I have been through and I am very thankful for all the experiences and lessons I picked up along the way. For me, UWB has been more than a college where I attend for higher education. It is also where I meet many incredible people who have inspired me to become better. I am serving as Marketing/PR Programmer of Campus Events Board; an officer of ACT (a student group committed to creating volunteer opportunities for the campus community); and most importantly, an ISF! I hope to use my knowledge and ability to assist you in creating great memories at UWB. Please remember that I am here for YOU, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you need help, want to get more involved on campus, or just simply make new friend.

Hi fellow international students! I originally come from Canton, China and I have been in the United States for about two years now. I'm currently a senior completing a double degree in Business Administration and Media & Communication Studies. I also minor in Philosophy and Values in Society. I consider myself very resourceful in academic planning, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I'm a Resident Advisor working in student housing, so I am almost always on campus and willing to provide help whenever necessary. I will also advocate for students as a Senior Senator in ASUWB, our student government. As an international student myself, I feel that I understand most of the problems that you all are going through. So never hesitate to ask us for help. ISFs like us will always be willing to help.
