UW Bothell is building institutional partnerships with several foreign universities and programs:
Ehime University, Japan
The Computing and Software Systems program first established a partnership with an engineering department at Ehime University in Japan in 2003. Since then, several students have participated in direct study abroad exchanges with Ehime.
University of Bergamo, Italy
Partnership with the University of Bergamo in Italy started with a collaborative publication. Since then, Bergamo's Center for Economic and Law Studies brought students for the UWB Business School's Global Classroom program and a direct exchange of students is on track to begin during Autumn Quarter 2012.
Scientific Mobility Program, Brazil
UW Bothell is a host institution for the Brazilian Scientific Mobility Program. Brazilian students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields spend one year studying at UWB and then return to their home country to complete their degree. The program, administered by the Instititue of International Education (IIE), is part of the Brazilian government's larger initiative to grant 100,000 scholarships for the best students from Brazil to study abroad at top universities worldwide.
