The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of King County (IIABKC) serves as the preferred local insurance forum for agents, brokers, companies, and consumers to interact and share knowledge, expertise,and direction for their mutual benefit.
Purpose
The purpose of this scholarship is to benefit a University of Washington, Bothell junior or senior in the Business or Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences Program who demonstrates outstandingacademic performance, exceptional leadership qualities, and a strong commitment to community service. Preference will be given to those considering a career in an insurance related field.
Eligibility
- Juniors and seniors who are enrolled, or planning to enroll, full-time in either the Business or Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences program. The scholarship is renewable upon reapplication.
- Students who are not members of, or related to a member of, the IIABKC.
Notification
Applicants will be notified four to six weeks after the deadline and award recipients will be posted on the UWB scholarship web page http://www.bothell.washington.edu/students/finaid/scholarships/.
