Planning continues for a new principal preparation program linked to an M.Ed. degree in Educational Leadership. We plan to combine on-the-job, on-line, and in-class components with a simultaneous internship to form a comprehensive program that links directly to the responsibility that today's principals have for leading a team of instructional leaders. One part of our planning involves creating a new partnership with the Center for Strengthening the Teaching Profession and several school districts in our region, called the Authentic Pathways to Principal Leadership (APPL) Collaborative.
