September Experience

From mid-August to the start of the fall academic quarter in late September, students begin their field placements and attend classes. Students will be immersed in the life of the school and classroom at the site where they will eventually do their student teaching. Each Friday students will participate in a full day of coursework during this period. Classes and fieldwork take place during the day 5 days a week.
