Academic Interests
Dr. Hintz's academic interests are in the areas of student learning, elementary mathematics, classroom discourse, and teacher development. Her current research focuses on the mathematical and interactional demands students experience during discussion with care for supporting all children through mathematically productive and socially supportive discourse.
