Clubs: Student Life oversees all of the campus diversity student organizations. The office provides guidance and resources for groups to be successful.
Dine & Dialogue Series: The Discussions on Diversity program provides students and the campus an opportunity to engage in discussion on a variety of topics with guest presenters. Students learn more about people from different backgrounds and experiences and have an open discussion in addition to having their questions answered. Check out our recent online flyer here.
Diversity Council: The Diversity Council is an advisory body established to coordinate and guide ongoing progress in fulfilling the commitment to diversity outlined in the mission statement and identified as a priority through UW Bothell's strategic planning processes.
Diversity Programmers: Diversity programmers educate the campus on differences and similarities between groups and individuals while promoting a welcoming environment. They encourage students to promote acceptance and inclusiveness in their daily lives while becoming global citizens.
Large Diversity Events and Student Trainings: Student Life hosts a number of large events and trainings during the year. Programs include ally training, diversity training, Intercultural Night, Bollywood Night, Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, and Lunar New Year, among others.
Intercultural Leadership Alliance (ILA) - The Intercultural Leadership Alliance (ILA) educates students, faculty and staff about creating a universally inclusive campus by creating an environment that supports the well-being of all identities, all backgrounds, and all experiences and where everyone’s opinions are heard, valued, and affirmed.
International Student Facilitators (ISF) - International Student Facilitators (ISF) are current international and domestic students here to introduce international/domestic students to student life at UW Bothell.
Reflection Room: The Reflection Room offers students a place to relax and engage in the five areas of wellness: intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social and physical. Located in UW1-380.
Students in Partnership for Organized Transformation (SPOT): The SPOT location is a gathering space for students to collaborate on programming, discussion, and open dialogue on topics associated with diversity. In the SPOT there will also be a small resource library for students to access and gain additional knowledge on social justive, culture, abilities, language, difference, etc. Items can be checked out via the Student Life front desk. The SPOT is located in the UW1 Lower Level Vista.
