Student File Server (formerly Hermes)

What is the Student File Server?

All UWB students have a personal folder with 500MB of space located on the Student File Server. Information stored in these folders will become unavailable if a student's registration at UW Bothell lapses for two consecutive quarters.

How do I access the Student File Server from the UWB Computer Lab or Computer Classrooms?

Once your UW NetID is created, you will have access to your personal network folder whenever you log onto a computer in the computer labs. Network folders are mapped to the drive "U:" by default.

To access your network file folder:

  • Click on the My Computer icon on the desktop.

  • Double-click the U: drive, and you will now have access to files in your folder.
