When using Mac OS X, your Airport card should readily discover the
wireless network nearest to you. Check to make sure you are connecting
to the UWB-CCC network.
- Position your laptop where wireless is available, which is
currently all of the floors of the UW Bothell library buildings (LB1,
LB2, and LBA).
- Start your laptop.
- At the top right hand corner of your desk top, you should see the wireless icon.
- Click on it, and verify that there is a check next to UWB-CCC.
Test your connection
- Open either Internet Explorer or Mozilla.
- Type in www.uwb.edu in the address field.
- You now have access to any UW or Cascadia resources available to you, including e-mail and file servers.
