Using email in Outlook Web Access 2003

Outlook Web Access (OWA) 2003 provides much the same functionality as using Outlook on your UWB computer. Sending and replying to email is very much the same as before, as we shall see.

The Outlook Web Access interface is divided into 3 sections. The left side is the folder list, and has other options as we'll see in subsequent tutorials. The middle section is a list of emails and the right-hand side displays the current email selected.

This means that you have X number of new messages. You can click on the word 'Inbox' to update the list of messages you have in the Inbox. Please note that Outlook Web Access will automatically checks for messages every few minutes, so you do not need to manually check for new email.

Once you find the email you want, click on it:

When you right-click on 'reply' you will now see a window like so:

Options of note include:

Note that you can hi-light multiple emails and delete them all at once. If click an email, then hold down Ctrl, you can select multiple messages. Then right-click on any of the hi-lighted messages and select delete. This same trick can be used to move multiple messages to another folder.
