Survey of 2010 Graduates

After graduation in June of 2010, Career Services invited 688 UW Bothell graduates to participate in a survey designed to measure employment statistics and the utilization of other services offered by the Career Center.  We received 156 responses for a return rate of 23 percent.  Here are some of the results:

WHY GET A DEGREE FROM UW BOTHELL?

INTERNSHIPS

• Nearly 24% of respondents participated in an internship while enrolled at UW Bothell.

• Most respondents credited their internship experience as the greatest factor to secure employment after graduation. 

EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION

• Nearly 58% of survey respondents reported they were employed at least part-time in a job related to career goals while enrolled at UW Bothell.

• Prior to graduating, 30% of students were employed in jobs unrelated to career goals.
