What to Wear

If your current fashion statement is college senior casual, venturing into the work world may be cause for a drastic shift in your wardrobe. Some of your individualism, at least from 9 to 5 may need to be kept in the closet. In most business and technical settings, when it comes to your attire, conservative and conformity are in order.

Each company will have its own guidelines, so be sure to research your potential employer before you meet. What is their dress code? Don't try to set new standards. Especially in the interview. When in doubt, conservative is better than flashy. For men and women, a suit is the safest bet.
