Virtual Advising

Virtual advising allows currently enrolled UW Bothell undergraduates to have their documents (resumes, cover letters, follow up letters) reviewed by a career advisor via e-mail. This service will provide a basic critique of grammar, punctuation, and spelling only.

How to Start Your Virtual Advising

Our expectation is that you complete the steps prior to submitting your request for virtual advising so that we can ensure the most value out of your time and ours.

Resume or Cover Letter Review

Step 1 - Write a Resume and/or Cover Letter
Step 2 - Submit your Resume and/or Cover Letter
Step 3 - Your document(s) receipt will be confirmed and assigned to an advisor within 2 business days.

Practice Phone Interview

Practicing is essential to making a good impression. Have your stories and answers ready by scheduling a practice phone interview with a career peer advisor. Schedule a time and then call us!
