
Global Classroom for Business Innovation & Technology
The University of Washington Bothell School of Business invites interested MBA or Masters level students from around the world to apply to attend a two-week intensive program in American Culture and Business Innovation Practices. The theme for the 2012 program is “Becoming a Global Value Creator.” Highlights of the program include:
- Certificate of Completion;
- Homestay with an American family;
- Site visits with leading American Companies in the Pacific Northwest. Participating companies include: Boeing, Microsoft, Zillow.com, Sonosite, Winshuttle, Halosource, Amazon, Gates Foundation, Real Networks and Fluke;
- Interaction with Executives in Residence about doing business in America;
- Ability to observe limited instruction in our nationally-ranked MBA program; and
- Social interaction with UW Bothell MBA students and alumni.
There are two separate sessions. Session I runs from July 7-July 19th. Session II runs from July 15 – July 27th. Participation is limited to 50 students. The program is conducted in English. There is an optional Cultural Exchange through Food, Art, Film, and Photography planned for July 15th.
Participants pay a $500 fee that includes program registration and lodging. Food, and local and international transportation are the responsibility of the student.
