Dr. Alison Lo is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the UW Bothell School of Business. She obtained her Ph.D. in Marketing from Duke University. Her major research interests include behavioral economics, judgment and decision making, and contextual determinants of consumer behavior.
She published in the areas of consumer decisions, consumer search and experimental economics in the Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.
Her research was featured by Boston Globe, MIT Sloan Management Review and US News & World Report. She is an ad hoc reviewer for Marketing Science Journal, Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Marketing Research, Society for Consumer Psychology and the Society for Judgment and Decision Making.
