Azam Husain
Azam Husain leads business operations, finance, and strategy for Microsoft’s multi-billion dollar SQL Server enterprise product group. Azam is also a senior advisor to the Corporate Vice-President, Business Platform Division, and a member of the SQL Server Leadership Team.
Azam has spent 15 years working in enterprise software, consumer internet, consulting, and ecommerce. He has extensive experience working with Fortune 1000 companies in North America, Europe, and Asia, including General Motors, HTC, Thomson Reuters, and Bank of America. Azam has also consulted with technology startups in the US and Japan.
Azam has taught at University of Washington Bothell since 2009. He has taught classes in global business, international marketing, strategy, and operations. Azam received his BA in Economics from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
