Global Executive Mini-MBA

The UWB School of Business Global Executive Mini-MBA Series

By 2050 Asia will be the global economic center of gravity, according to The World Bank. Many feel that this shift has already taken place.

Screen-Shot-2013-01-31-at-5-25-38-PM.jpgAt the University of Washington Bothell School of Business, we know that the shift is already well underway and we don't want you or your business to be left behind.

However, with our years of experience educating and working with Washington State business leaders, we realize that few are prepared to successfully deal with the challenges posed by this major shift in global economic power. Many of our business leaders sense the situation. They understand that big changes and new ideas are necessary if they want to be successful in the new global marketplace. But knowing exactly how to begin can be elusive.

Expertise That Meets Your Needs

UW Bothell School of Business professors with specific expertise in these emerging global economic markets have created a cross-disciplinary Global Executive Mini-MBA tour series that gives you the information, understanding and even professional contacts you need to be successful in complex and dynamic markets such as India, China, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Korea and Thailand. No longer do you need to rely on piecemeal or second-hand information to form your strategy.

The series combines lectures and discussions with tours through these regions. While in the countries, you'll visit the most important commercial destinations to experience firsthand the business, legal, trading, cultural and consumer marketing environments. You'll hear from and question local experts and government officials. There will also be opportunities to network and exchange contact information with important industry leaders.

Program Flexibility

Further, our program is flexible to best meet your needs and the needs of your company. As an option, the UW Bothell School of Business can also design and conduct in-house corporate tours that are customized to a company’s specific interests, markets, and business focus, for example a manufacturing tour to China, a financial services tour to Singapore or an agricultural tour to Vietnam.

The Global Executive Mini-MBA

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will each receive a Global Executive Mini-MBA (India) from the University of Washington Bothell School of Business.

In order to qualify for participation in this program, applicants will require an undergraduate degree from a leading educational institution. In light of the multi-disciplinary nature of the study tour and topics, participants from all professional backgrounds are welcome to apply.
