UWB Bothell Business Plan Competition
Final Round
May 6th 4-7 PM, Mobius Hall
Join us Friday, May 6th from 4 to 7PM in Mobius Hall for the Final Round of the UW Bothell Business Plan Competition. Come watch the final four teams compete head-to-head in front of Puget Sound CEO's, Entrepreneurs and Angel Investors for a grand prize worth over $20,000 in cash and prizes. The evening festivities will include food, raffles and lots of great energy as you witness these young entrepreneurs compete for a chance to launch their first business.

Business Plan Competition Deadline Approaching
Two (2) printed copies of the business plan must be delievered to the UW Bothell Business Development Center by close of business, 31 March 2011. At that time the UW Bothell BDC will be located in suite 104 of the new Beardslee building, 18807 Beardslee Boulevard, Bothell, WA 98011. The Beardslee building (UWBB) is located north of the north campus entrance at Beardslee Blvd and 110th Ave NE.on Beardslee Blvd. See our Events page for a detailed timeline of the Business Plan Competition.
Palo Alto Software Helps Sponsor UW Bothell
BDC Business Plan Competition
The UW Bothell Business Development Center is happy to announce that Palo Alto Software will provide teams competing in our Business Plan Competition a free license to their highly acclaimed Business Plan Pro software.
Student teams who want a license must email the name, email address, and program affiliation of all members of the team requesting the license for Business Plan Pro to UWB.BDC@gmail.com. (Examples for program affiliation might be CUSP, IAS, CSS, BUS, etc. Cascadia students should list Cascadia). Teams may be of any size, and may add or remove members between now and the end of the competition. Please do not request more than one copy of Business Plan Pro per team. UW Bothell BDC Business Plan Competition & Workshops
On May 6th, 2011 the UW Bothell Business Development Center will host its first annual Business Plan Competition with $20,000 in prizes. To compete all you need is a creative idea and a well written business plan. And if you have the idea, we’ll help you get your plan written!
Starting January 20th, the UW Bothell BDC will host five workshops presented by successful entrepreneurs. By completing the workshop series and using Business Plan Pro, all of the students will be able to craft business plans to meet the new March 31st deadline for submission in order to be eligible for the $20,000 in cash and prizes. Although the workshops are not required in order to compete, they are highly recommended. Video recordings of completed workshops can be found on the Business Plan Workshops page. Join the Business Development Center on Thursday, January 6th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the North Creek Events Center for the Winter Entrepreneur Fest.
Learn how to become a successful entrepreneur from CEO's: Karen Howlett, McSweeny Steele; Laura Berry, Soundview Medical; Kyra Gray, D.E. Hokanson and Debbie Oberbillig, Allen Partners. Discussion to be moderated by Mary Jane Pioli.
