information about starting, financing, and managing small businesses.
SCORE's business toolbox
includes tools such as business quizzes and a tip of the day.
SCORE's reading room contains
dozens of articles about everything from e-business to office management.
The Small Business Development Center National
Information Clearinghouse (SBDCNET) contains a comprehensive set of
resources.
Resources in the greater Seattle area
The Bellevue Entrepreneur Center assists
with financing, marketing, and operations of emerging businesses in culturally
diverse communities on the Eastside of King County. The Center has a micro loan program.
The Business and
Economic Development Center at UW Seattle links students, faculty, and
staff from the Business
School with a racially
and ethnically diverse business and nonprofit community.
Cascadia Revolving Fund provides
financing and business assistance to underserved entrepreneurs, small
businesses, and community-building organizations.
Community Capital Development has several
programs in the area and Washington State, including the Northwest Washington Women's Business Center
and Washington State Minority
Business Development
Center.
