UW Bothell Alumni Council Elects 2008-09 Leadership Team

UW Bothell Alumni Council

BOTHELL, Wash. - The University of Washington Bothell Alumni Council held its third annual elections May 6 and selected its leaders for the upcoming 2008-09 academic year.

Anthony Cruz (Business '06) will serve as Chair, with Calvin Kavalski (Liberal Studies '97, MBA '03) named as Chair-Elect.  Kavalski will helm the organization in 2009-10, UW Bothell's 20th year.  Additional positions are listed below.

All posts begin July 1, 2008 and extend through June 30, 2009.

The UW Bothell Alumni Council represents the institution's nearly 8,000 graduates, and in partnership with the University of Washington Alumni Association (UWAA) provides an array of services, events, and opportunities to maintain a connection to the UW family.

The Chair of the UW Bothell Alumni Council also serves as a member of UWAA's Board of Trustees.

The UW Bothell Alumni Council is the core of an active UW Bothell alumni community providing opportunities for lasting engagement, collaboration and networking while supporting the mission, vision and goals of UW Bothell. We want to create, promote, and encourage opportunities for UW Bothell alumni to connect with each other in a manner that strengthens the reputation of the University of Washington as a whole, while recognizing the unique characteristics of UW Bothell.
