The University is a place that not only speaks about mission, but lives it. Daily I witness the support and collaboration given to making UW Bothell a special environment for both teaching and learning. Because of this, I have no doubt of the success our graduates will experience. Being part of an organization such as UW Bothell makes me feel like I am not just coming to a job each day, but contributing to a greater society and the future of our students. I look forward to arriving on campus every day.
What is the best advice you can give a new student?
Take advantage of the opportunities that are available at UW Bothell. This is your time to study, experiment, experience and connect. If you do, opportunities will present themselves that you might not expect and often they can lead to greater things in your life. Also, celebrate and take pride in being a Husky – wearing purple is fun.
What do you consider the main attraction at UW Bothell?
This campus is always innovating and planning for the future. Smart growth creates a sense of accomplishment and excitement while maintaining the cohesive and intimate campus feel. This is a fantastic time to be at UW Bothell. Students, Faculty, Staff and Administration really come together to create a truly unique environment for living and learning.
